Course Description
This course presents basic pharrnacodynamics and pharmacokinetics to the student. Emphasis is on drug action and drug administration across the life span and the nursing process. Concepts are terminology, classification, and methods of drug administration; safety precautions and documentation; patient education and health promotion. Medical math and complementary therapies are included in the course.

Successful completion of the following courses with a minimum grade of “C”

Basic Nursing I & II
