Course Description
This course is an introduction to the disease; the causes, mechanisms and effects upon the human body. The first part of the course covers the general reactions of tissues to different types of injury. In the second part, each organ system is considered with respect to the diseases and which affect it; each disease is related to the clinical signs and symptoms that the clinical will encounter in the sick patient.
Pre-requisite
Students must have passed the 200-hour Anatomy and Physiology Course
