Course Description

This program is designed to assist college student and business professionals in reviewing English grammar, punctuation, style and usage. This course will also help the students to develop a clear, correct and concise writing style, master the basic elements of content development and employ suitable business I technical vocabulary. Lastly, the student will be taught how to summarize reading assigned reading materials for a general educated audience.

Pre-requisites
A grade of “C” or better at English 099, or Placement Test

Who needs to attend?

Anyone interested in taking the prerequisites to the Practical Nursing Program and who is not prepared to take the Pre-Admission Exam for Practical Nursing (PN).
