Compliance Statement

Non-Discriminatory Policy

Northwestern Institute of Health and Technology admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Sexual Harassment

Northwestern Institute of Health and Technology prohibits all forms of sexual harassment, including verbal, non-verbal and physical harassment.

Drug Free Workplace

It is a violation of Northwestern Institute of Health and Technology policy for any employee to sell, purchase, use, consume, possess, manufacture, distribute, dispense or transport any illegal substance, or to abuse any controlled substance within NWIHT premises and at any time during working hours, including meal and break periods. Its employees must report to work facilities with their abilities unimpaired by illegal or controlled substances, and remain so throughout the workday.

Non-Violence in the Workplace

It is the policy of Northwestern Institute of Health and Technology that all members conduct disagreements in a civil, respectful, and non-confrontational manner. When a NWIHT member’s conduct violates this standard, it is the responsibility of the manager, chair or dean who supervises the person engaging in the conduct to address it, All violent behaviors that pose imminent threat are subject to disciplinary actions up to and including termination.

Privacy

Northwestern Institute of Health and Technology values privacy. All personal information is kept confidential and we will not publish, distribute, and disseminate any information without written consent of the individual concerned.

Violation

Any member of the Northwestern Institute of Health and Technology community violating the policies outlined in this Handbook is subject to disciplinary actions up to and including immediate dismissal from school, or discharge from his or her position.

Note:
Disciplinary action will be taken, not only against individuals who authorize or participate directly in a violation of the Policy, but also against:

• any employee who may have deliberately failed to report a violation of the policy;

• any employee who may have deliberately withheld relevant information and material information concerning a violation of the policy.
